Hurricane Matthew: Port Conditions (Update October 6th)

Please see the below notices regarding Charleston and Savannah Ports.

Charleston, SC: Thursday, October 6 – Due to anticipated weather conditions associated with Hurricane Matthew, the
South Carolina Ports Authority’s cargo terminals in Charleston and Georgetown will be closed effective Friday, October
7. Based on the current forecast, it is anticipated that normal gate hours will resume on Monday, October 10. However,
the schedule for re-opening could shift depending on conditions. Any further updates will be provided as soon as they
are available.

Savannah, GA: Thursday, October 6 – The Georgia Ports Authority continues preparations for heavy rains and sustained
storm force winds. The Port of Savannah terminals will be closed on Friday, October 7. Georgia Ports Authority may
resume normal operations on Monday, October 10, if conditions allow. The port is monitoring developments and
additional updates will be shared as available.
